With over 20 years in engineering, I’ve navigated the challenges of being a woman in a male-dominated industry - balancing high expectations, self-doubt, and the constant pressure to prove myself. As I advanced from engineer to project manager and eventually to leading teams, I learned that success wasn’t just about technical expertise. It was about confidence, resilience, and managing the stress that came with greater responsibility. Now, I help women in A/E/C do the same, so they can step into their full potential without the weight of stress and self-doubt holding them back.
For much of my engineering career, I focused on logic, problem-solving, and technical execution. Like many engineers, I was trained to manage projects, but no one prepared me for managing people. . .or myself.
Later in my career, I received an emotional intelligence assessment that shook me. The results were clear: I lacked social awareness, struggled to show empathy, and wasn’t attuned to the emotions of those around me. Not exactly ideal feedback for someone about to step into a leadership role!
I realized the ability to excel isn’t just about intelligence, expertise, or even hard work. It’s about how we navigate challenges, manage stress, and cultivate the mindset that allows us to show up as our best selves.
So, I did the work. I chose to stop overanalyzing my doubts and start building trust in myself. I developed the self-awareness to recognize when I was operating from fear rather than confidence, and I strengthened the mental fitness to shift out of unhelpful patterns. The result? I became the leader - and the person - I had always wanted to be.
Now, I help women in A/E/C do the same. No MBA required. No waiting for the "right" level of experience to feel confident. Just proven strategies to help you step into your full potential. Without the stress, self-doubt, and overwork that so many of us have been conditioned to accept as the cost of success.
Learn how to manage stress, quiet imposter syndrome, and show up with confidence.
With 22 years in engineering and construction, I’ve lived the challenges you face. . .navigating high-pressure environments, overcoming self-doubt, and proving my worth in a male-dominated industry. But technical expertise alone wasn’t enough to thrive. It was the deeper work, understanding mindset, emotional intelligence, and resilience, that made the real difference. Now, I use my unique blend of industry experience, advanced education, and science-backed coaching methodologies to help women in A/E/C step fully into their confidence and success.
When I began my MBA at Capital University, I wanted to sharpen my business acumen. What I didn’t expect was a wake-up call: success isn’t just about knowledge. It’s about people. I quickly realized that no matter how technically skilled someone is, relationships are the true foundation of performance, trust, and long-term success. That insight led me to shift my focus toward leadership, self-awareness, and human dynamics. . .because understanding people is just as critical as understanding the work itself.
The most impactful program I’ve encountered for stress management, resilience, and personal growth is Positive Intelligence® (PQ®). The engineer in me loves that it’s science-based and backed by research, but what I love most is that it delivers lasting change. Through PQ®, I help my clients quiet self-doubt, strengthen confidence, and create a mindset that supports, not sabotages, their success.
As a dual-certified Life and Health Coach through the Health Coach Institute, I trained in behavioral psychology, neuroscience, intuitive listening, habit change, and sustainable lifestyle design. I pursued this dual certification because success isn’t just about career performance. . .it’s about thriving in every aspect of life. By addressing emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being, I help women build confidence from the inside out.
Let’s work together to help you thrive in your career and life without stress and self-doubt holding you back.
